Hamarikyu Park - Shiodome

Hamarikyu Park is a 15 minute walk from Shimbashi JR Station and has many interesting features. A manmade sea water lake, with tea house on stilts and crossing boardwalks. Here you can enjoy a small cake and omacha (frothy green tea) tatami style, surrounded by views across the lake. This field of Cosmos with crossing pathways looks wonderful later in the year. see Cosmos field in Japan 2007 gallery
