Just 5 hours are arriving Tokyo I was beckoned into a bar whilst out for an evening stroll. Luckily I had my camera and lens preset for night work so was able to get some spontaneous shots. I lost memory whilst walking back to my hotel and was awakened around 2:30 am sitting outside my room door fast asleep - by the hotel security officer. Apparently the nextdoor occupant had complained there was someone asleep in the corridor. Too much sake, no food, no sleep and 8 hours time difference had wiped me out, but luckily I captured some great shots in the bar. One of those unique occasions when a weighty D700 (+24-70 +hood) in the bar had no impact whatseover.
Looking back at the EXIF, I would never normally drop to 1/80th without a VR/IS lens, so conclude that six shots of Sake is equivalent to 3 stops on the exposure dial.
