Japanese Magnolia

My entire tree is now in bloom and the colors are wonderful. I liked the shape of this flower.

I love magnolias! My grandparents in Kentucky had a huge tree right smack in the middle of their front yard. I wish the climate here were more temperate, so we could grow them. Beautiful shot - brings back memories.

It is lovely. Pretty color too. Around here, magnolias have a life span of about three days before a frost kills them.

Very nice capture. I as well like this almost unusual shape. I like the colors, how they are rich on the outer side of the petals and softer inside. Very nice DoF as well.
