Natchitoches Christmas Lights

Natchitoches, LA

This is part of the beautiful Christmas Light display in Natchitoches, LA. I am attending a conference in Alexandria, LA and we drove to see them last night. Internet availablitity is limited to dial up in the rooms, so I will catch up when I can.

I did stop by and see the house where Steel Magnolias was filmed, sadly my picture didn't come out. This is the river they show in Steel Magnolias. It is a beautiful town with lots of wonderful picture opportunities, I wish I had been able to visit during the day.

Wonderful capture of the lights. Is this the river that's in the last scene of " Steel Magnolia's " where they leave the park & the camera rises & pans over Natchitoches ??
