Ugh! Here's the... ahem... "Heritage" paint scheme BNSF was using until recently. Now they've adopted a somewhat different scheme and a new logo, nicknamed "The Wedge" by railfans. If you ask me, they should have kept either the Burlington Northern name and colors, or better yet, Santa Fe's name and colors. Naming the company BNSF... boy, talk about un-imaginitive! "Let's give our company an acronym that in the years to come no one will know what the heck the letters stand for". At least when Union Pacific swallows another company there's never any doubt what the railroad's name will be...
