Southern Pacific HO scale brass steam locos

My Southern Pacific HO scale brass steam locomotive collection. Note that several are painted but not yet lettered. The F-5 class 2-10-2 #3765 is lettered with decals from Foothill Model Works, now available through San Juan Decals http://www.sanjuancarco.com/sanjuandecals/sp-decal-sets.html . All five of these brass steam locos were hand constructed by Katsumi Models (KTM) of Japan http://www.ktm-models.co.jp/.

UPDATE Nov 30th: Added photos of the 4-10-2 I used to own. Loco was painted by Clyde King, I applied the decals using the excellent set from Foothill Model Works, now available from San Juan Decals. Loco now belongs to Dr. Leo Pesce... though I get to visit it every once in a while. ;~D

I Love your SP steam models! I too have recently began to upgrade my collection with can motors and DCC. These Brass models will forever hold their value.

those are some very nice models. Thanks for sharing the results with others. I have a number of those older brass models and they are great. Some have been remotored with tender drive and regeared by Dallas Gilbertson and they run like a watch! Tom Dill
