HO scale Balboa/KTM GS-4 class 4-8-4 custom painted and lettered by the late Lee Yeager of Sacramento, CA. Lee was a professional model maker and painter, but more importantly, a really great human being! The loco has light weathering applied to give a more realistic appearance. I double head the GS-4 with my F-5 class 2-10-2 on the head end of my brass Challenger Imports Ltd. 1955 Coast Daylight, same as the real Southern Pacific did on the train as it traversed the pass over Cuesta, north of San Luis Obispo, CA.
