Crossing the Marsh

Southern Vancouver Island

The other side of the marsh was definitely calling to this heron as he flapped his way across the water. Not too sure what it was that had him in such a flap, but he continued on for a bit longer before he finally settled down. Great Blue Heron facts: People who create and stock fish ponds may find that their expensive fish are being eaten by Great Blue Herons. Two inexpensive countermeasures include installing bird netting or decoy herons to keep those expensive fish safe. ~ Heron.com

Almost appears as though you are down there in the marsh with your heron friend! Great POV! V.
