Thomas was rescued from the wild, has no teeth, and lives at the High Plains Museum near Bend, Oregon. I spent a lot of time watching him and decided he only had three main activities, eat, play and sleep. It was fascinating watching him sleep. He seemed to have dreams, or maybe nightmares, he twitched and jerked much of the time and sucked on the end of his tail...perhaps for comfort???
