American Mink live in forested areas that are near rivers, streams, lakes, ponds and marshes. This male mink was in an area where Bald Eagles were numerous and he was in a big hurry to get across the open tidal flats. Mink Trivia: Like the skunk, the mink sprays intruders with a foul-smelling liquid. Unlike the skunk, the mink can't aim its spray, so snything in range gets covered!
