February could be interesting this year, Vancouver, BC, is hosting the 2010 Olympics
and the impact of the athletes and visitors is expected to be province wide. Some teams that
are competing in the alpine events are practicing at Mt. Washington, located on the island.
Visitors are scheduling their trips with added days to allow for pre/post Olympic travel
throughout the province and where better to visit than on beautiful Vancouver Island. Also,
February still offers lots of opportunities to photograph the great outdoors and all it
has to offer!
