On this day we left the Wind river, and started down the Peel river. The first section is known as the the Grand Canyon of the Peel river. Very scenic, but it also hides one class 3 rapid - and we didn't know where it was. We eventually found it, and it was barely class 2 at this water level.
Then, we had to make some serious distance, as we were falling behind on our schedule. This turned into a very long day of canoeing. At that nights camp, we discovered we were down to the last ration of liquor - 2 capfulls of nameless fluid left per person.
