On this day we pass the confluence of the Wind river with the Little Wind river. We start looking for the confluence, but it seems never to come. When we do reach it, the Wind makes a sudden, sharp turn at the confluence, where the river is covered by an enormous boil covering most of the river. The currents are very strong and tricky, we are very lucky not to tip a boat.
At the end of the day, we pass out of the mountainous area and camp in a field of Arctic cotton.
