This is the view at the beginning of the hike which starts at or across from Rattlesnake Lake and Rattlesnake Ledges. This was at sunset and there was some pretty good golden light. Rattlesnake Ledges is another gallery from the time when I hiked up to the ledges. You can see the lake is fairly shallow here even though it was taken in December which is a rainy time of year and the little stumps always stick out of Rattlesnake Lake. This is an OK picture though not spectacular by any means. I could do without whatever the dark thing is in the lower left corner.
