These photos are from a December 2003 hike up to Cedar Butte just East of Seattle and then another visit in December 2004. The first part of the trail is a rails-to-trails conversion, ie a former railroad bed. Then the second part is a regular trail that circles around to the top of Cedar Butte where you get views of the Snoqualmie Valley. This is certainly one of the less scenic galleries I have posted but the value in the hike was that it was snow free even into winter. This was about all I could squeeze out of the my camera:
