I installed the new parts with new hose clamps and filled the coolant tank with water. I checked the newly installed parts and they remain dry, but I did see water dripping on the ground that appears to be coming from the back of the engine block. I now am thinking that I could have a blown head gasket.
After talking to my mechanic I have decided I need a car. It would be too expensive to keep this one running.
