While driving home yesterday after taking a photo of JetSuiteX Embraer ERJ-135LR, I noticed my temperature gauge rising above normal and thought it was a hot day and I am stuck in traffic. The temperature gauge went all the way up to 245 degrees and the red Temp light came on and the oil pressure light flickered on and off and I just wanted to get home and not be stuck on the side of the road. I made it home and I let the car cool off and checked the oil level and it was OK. I then started to add water to the radiator which was dry and noticed that water was leaking out under the car. I followed the water to there it was leaking from and it appears to be coming from the side of the engine block.
I discovered I had a crack in the Engine Coolant Outlet Flange. I was able to buy a new one at O'Reilly Auto Parts store. When I removed the old flange I accidentally broke the Engine Coolant Pipe Distributor so I had to go buy that part too.
