Contrasti, bianco e nero, Giallo e Blu, luce e ombra, ed assenza di colore; contrasti stridenti tra pieno e vuoto, tra il finito e l'infinito.
Ma anche contrasti nel confronto di idee, tra cio` che e` bello (solo a volte opera dell'uomo) e cio` che e` brutto (quasi sempre colpa nostra).
