9th - There's a Butterfly on the Sidewalk

Dallas, TX.

I was walking up to the front door when I got home from work today and I
said, "Hey, there's a butterfly on the sidewalk." So I went inside and got
my camera and took some photos of it. It only allowed my four or five before
I scared it away. I didn't get a chance to set my DOF that I wanted but this
was the best one I got of him/her. I thanked him/her as it flew away.

1/250 @ F/6.7 @ 100iso full exif

What a wonderful picture! He/She blends in well with the rocks in the concrete. I'm glad he/she didn't fly off before you retrieved your camera.

I actually like the DoF…the head of the butterfly is very crisp so in part make the entire image able to work…good eye, and good thing that you didn’t step on it.

This looks like a young "American Lady". I like the angle on the shot. Nice clarity
