16th - Constructing a Road

Garland, TX..

This was a spare of the moment shot that I took. I saw
it a lot differently in my head. First thing I didn't
count on was the lights being so bright, glare city.
Anyway, I got rid of some glare and I gave it a nice brown
duotone.

Canon EOS 10D , Canon 24-70mm F/2.8L

Starbursts are really good. And so is this picture.

I love the starbursts. Nice.

Mono works well here Shawn and I always like the star effect from long exposures at narrow apertures. Well composed.

I like the DOF you achieved with the aperture you used. The starry lights are great, and the brown works for this.

I love the star effect of the lights in this shot. The brown tone is perfect too.

Yeah, I think it turned out great. At 15 seconds, you're bound to get a lot of light. Next time try a much wider aperture and a higher iso if you don't want so much light.
Must be a little travelled road if no one went by in 15 seconds.

The starburst coming from the street lights adds a lot to this shot...and I thought they were going to ruin your photo when you were shooting it. Very nice shot, like it a lot...DP
