The instruction manual says it was made by the Sakar company in China.
Best image size is 3.1 megapixels.
I gave this little $ 39.95 digital (from Big Lots store) a little test run,in outdoor mode.
On my field excursion I burned about two dozen images in best quality settings available, before the 32 mb memory card I had inserted was filled up.
I have not managed decent flash pictures with the camera yet, they have been blurred and overexposed, but I am reasonably certain that I just don't have those settings correct.
So all these images are without the built-in flash activated.
The accordian is in a church-run thrift shop, the gold flake finish is something to behold in person.
The statue of liberty is new locally, advertising some business in High Ridge.
From there I drove down to the old town part of Fenton, along the Meramec River.
The bridge is the big Highway 30 bridge that connects us with the rest of St.Louis area.
The grand old sycamore trees are along the Meramec River, and have survived a century or more of sun and snow, fog and flood... makes for a nice setting. There used to be homes mixed in with the big trees, but they were all swept away (literally) in the floods of 1982 -1983, when the Meramec rapidly rose over 35 feet of vertical elevation, if you can imagine that.
The "pub" survived those floods, and has a long history of faithful patrons. We were only in there once these last 30 plus years. Not our style.
