Originally shot as an assigned category image representing the subject ‘nightlife’. This
image lacked sufficient ‘life’ to meet the criteria so it was entered in the open category
instead. Almost no post-processing was done; it is basically an out of the camera JPG. It
represents the best of about a dozen shots taken with small amounts of re-composition and
exposure adjustments. It would have been great to have captured an underexposed duplicate
image to blend into the blown highlights area of the fountain spray. Live and learn.
It was submitted as a 12 x 16 in a 16 x 20 mat and was printed on my Epson R1800.
