When this pic was shot due to maintenance there was no water in the channel.However the mill-wheel is visible.

What a great place! Likely with the water in the channel you would have to get your shot from another spot! :) A lovely building - glad they're doing maintenance to keep it in such good condition.

So when the tide flows in it fills the channel, then when it flows back out it spins the wheel! Or maybe both in and out?
