Went to Olde Towne Manassas hoping to get some shots of holiday lights. Nothing appealed to me and so I made another shot of this old station to add to my collection made over the past 3 years.
This is a two shot overlay done completely in camera (I guess that's the same as a two shot multiple exposure). One image is at f/16 to get everything in sharp focus; the second is shot with the lens wide open which caused all of the lights to blur. Combine them and this is what you get.
In looking at this, it appears that I not only shot the 2nd totally out of focus as I intended, but also accidentally moved the focus point to the left - based on the non-aligned lights.
