D300 - In-camera multiple exposure. Shutter release set to continuous high speed and held down for 2-3 seconds while panning the camera up & down.
This gives results better than the 10 separate shots previously needed in the D70 and subsequently composited in software. Not only better quality but, also, ten times faster to shoot and *more* than ten times faster to process - basically just a RAW to jpeg conversion.
