This scene is sweet - El Capitan reflected in the Merced river at Cathedral beach. Wandered through the weeds/woods along the river looking for a good spot - lots of options. Needed every mm of the 12-24's wide end to squeeze all of this in the frame.
There was a breeze that came & went (mostly came) which made waiting for still water to get the reflection a game of patience which is one of my 3 P's to getting a good image - Planning, Persistence and Patience.
Arrived here about noon after a 4+ hour drive from Sequoia/Kings Canyon. Gotta' plan some sunrise action and then get to bed.
