6/8/07 - Symmetry

A small church (not nearly as big as it looks with this wide angle shot) located in Kingston, New Brunswick. Probably one of the most photographed churches in Canada since Freeman Patterson workshop attendees go there to shoot.
I shot two shots to make this one - one exposed for highlights (the big window) and one for the rest of the church - and combined them. It didn't do as well as I'd hoped in retaining window detail, but it's a lot better than the single shot version. I also corrected the wide angle lens perspective distortion (leaning arch columns) to make this "just so" (need to go back there to align the hymnals).
