I liked the way that the contour of the cliff at Crescent Rock followed the contour of Hawksbill mountain in the distance (the highest mountain in Shenandoah Nation Park - a bit over 4000 feet). Clouds kept blowing by and obscuring Hawksbill; be patient. Color is just starting to show at the higher elevations; give it another week or so.
