Focus on the tickseed sunflower - about 20 inches distant (full frame image achieved by using a screw-in close up lens attached to a 75-300 lens plus a 1.4x teleconverter). After focusing and framing the image, move another tickseed sunflower plant (containing a dozen blossoms & leaves) so that it is almost touching the wide open lens. Shooting through the near blossoms gives the image a yellow mist-like atmosphere.
