Not cropped. Shot with a 75-300 Nikkor zoom plus a 1.4x TC and a Canon 500D closeup lens. I had to back off from 300 to 230 mm to keep from overflowing the frame. This was the equivalent of putting a close up lens on the front of a 630mm telephoto and shooting from two feet. At a focus distance of about 2 feet and a working distance (front of lens to subject) of only about a foot, I was surprised that the critter stayed put. With the relatively long exposure time of 1/10 sec, I took a number of these in the attempt to get at least one sharp one.
