Trying to catch up with missing my PAD postings that I missed while in NH (shot every day but had no internet access). I'll try 2-3 a day for the next few days.
This is in Center Sandwich, NH. Many of the stones date from the early 1800's (not old by the standards of other countries, but around here that's pretty old). The camera is nearly at ground level (as is the photographer and it was as cold as it looks). Shooting in the direction of the setting sun made exposure difficult. This was as good as I could do. As you can see by looking at the snow near by - it had a solid ice glaze on the surface which made keeping the tripod from sliding a bit tricky (and walking away without falling on my butt tricky as well).
