Shenandoah National Park. About a 2 mile round trip with 30 pounds of gear. Hadn't hiked down here since last spring. Nice brisk day; trail was icy in spots, but no major disasters (just that after an hour my wife came looking for me; didn't hear me say that I was going all the way to the falls).
I find these spots pretty to look at but hard to photograph - other than a "here's a falls" documentary type of photo. Maybe that's all that's here. Keep trying.
