02/16/10 - September 2007 Viewers' Choice (Memorability: Very Low (score: 0.155 ) Pop:4.145)

Month #41 - Retrospective of Daily Photos posted from 5/04 to 12/09 (most viewers for the month)

September 2007 - Mormon Row, Grand Tetons National Park. My only trip "out west". Visited many of the iconic photo locations with good and bad news. Good - easy to see why they are "iconic". Bad - I really really hate taking the same photo that's been done 1,000's of times (especially if the next 1,000 are being taken while I'm standing there).

This is NOT an extraordinary photograph. It's an *ordinary* photograph of an extraordinary scene (no thanks to the guy who bumped my tripod while walking to a spot up in front of me; you can't see him; he's laying in the grass where he fell after I shot him; it's the wild-wild west).

Nevertheless a good job and fine landscape. Sorry to hear you killed some other photographer for this image however. ;) v.

Ed, this is really a wonderful scene and although you may be right about the popularity of this photo I never tire of seeing this shot. Well done. BTW, I hope you didn't get any blood stains on you. V
