Month #34 - Retrospective of Daily Photos posted from 5/04 to 12/09 (most viewers for the month)
Another winter indoor project. Back in 2/07 I ran across an image like this and was intrigued. Played with it for a few day and have never gone back to it. Maybe it's time again since we're due for another 6-10" of snow tomorrow - on top of the 2 feet from three days ago. Geez! Enough already. Here's what I wrote back when posting this in 2/07 -
2/13/07 - Smoke Gets in Your Eyes
Tried something new (for me, inspired by two other's galleries - I've got a long way to go to match them).
Smoke from burning incense sticks. Black backdrop, flash. Really hard to follow the smoke which drifts all over - taking it in & out of the viewfinder and in & out of focus. This image has been rotated 90 degrees CCW - I like the abstract feel. Sort of like the US Postal Service logo shape.
I learned a little, so the next time should be better (except that I don't care much for the smell).
