This is one of those "you had to be there" images. It will attract very few viewers but, no matter, my PADs are mainly my photographic diary of where I was & and what attracted me - if they appeal to others then so much the better but that's not their primary purpose. This is Big Meadows in Shenandoah National Park with a meandering deer trail though the tall grasses and flora. I loved the soft golden color (which warmed up the otherwise drizzly day). Included a few pink wildflowers at the start of the trail to show that there's more than grass out there (the scattered green plants are milkweed, a favorite of the Monarch butterfly).
