The Gulf - March / April 2007

Visits to Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia and Oman.

All work related and virtually no free time so hardly any pictures. If you need to choose to go to only one of these countries, then I'd recommend Oman without any hesitation: genuinely welcoming and hospitable, mixture of the old and the new, and some stunning mountains and beaches mixed with degrees of freedom and tolerance. One to avoid: Saudi Arabia. It is not a nice place.
