I was in a taxi at the time I took this pic. The driver insisted he knew where he was going...and went the wrong way. I'm glad he did because it meant that I saw this. Now I can't ski or skateboard but when I saw that slope arcing into the sky, I thought it'd be great to race down it. Fifteen minutes later the driver got us to the right hotel, which was the Royal Meridien, Dubai. Nice hotel.
