April 11, 2005; size: 9.5 x 7.5 x 2.0 inches. This was thrown on a wheel as a round pot,
then, after some drying, a piece was sliced out of the center of the bottom and the sides
and bottom were pushed together to create an oval. Feet were added with separate pieces.
Some practice might be needed to work out the optimum hardness and shape of the slice to
make this work well. Bottom is pierced with drain and wire tie-down holes for bonsai use.
