The fine arts activities at Montgomery County (PA) Community College are centered around the "Art Barn." These buildings are from the original farm that occupied the property prior to the college. The main barn section is being preserved and enhanced, but most of the auxiliary buildings have come down to make room for a new studio wing and gallery to be attached to the barn. Ye Olde Photographer occasionally stops by and snaps an image or five (and occasionally is sidetracked by other views).

May 2009: Note that this is now officially "The Fine Arts Center." Given that the barn motif has been incorporated in the new portions, and the long history, one might suspect it will unofficially remain "The Art Barn" for some time to come. We include here some shots of the building and grounds on a sunny spring day.
