The fibro extension is finally down and gone. We have black plastic to prevent rain coming in to the original federation cottage where the roof lines met.

We have struck our first potential problem. The clay soil under the fibro extension is quite wet, soft and spongy. Hopefully this only indicates there was a leak in the plumbing and is not an underground spring or well. We have to find the source of this moisture as it may casue serious problems with the proposed extension.
