Note the photos on the bulletin board attached to the front of the desk. I use these to describe to visitors to the layout just what I am trying to accomplish. They have never heard of "operations" and their idea of a model railroad is a circle of track around the Christmas tree. They are litterally "blown away" by my plans and cannot understand a "point to point" railroad.
One of these days I will purchase a REAL trash can but with over 15 of these 5 gallon containers around, it is a low priority. As you can see, I have virtually everything I need for a comfortable day of model building, decoder installing, weathering cars/locos, etc. I must keep sight of the ultimate goal or I could spend all of my spare time playing around here at the desk. Got to finish the railroad. Bigger and better things are in the future. Note the book Chuck. Rights of Trains. I am trying, really trying to understand this esoteric thing you call TT-TO.
