As they say, "If you can't do it right..." Actually, the water pictures are imitations of others so well done in the studio. I don't think I can create such perfection - so I do what I can. See what happens. And I find the result rather interesting to look at. Here, the water is caught mid-flight, catching the gleam off a flashlight; the glass is about to tip over. As I look at the poised movement, I ask the question recently posed on DPReview, "What are you trying to tell with this picture?"
And...I can say...I don't know. Maybe it's a testament to fleeting action, to moments that possess so much meaning yet are gone in an instant and if you don't happen to think about it, muse over it, take a picture of it, that moment will be gone. Or maybe...it's about chaos.
Or...maybe it's just me screwing around with a glass of water. And a golf ball.
