Dailies (When I Can)

My Photo-A-Day Gallery for those days when I can produce a respectable photo in my own eyes. I started the PAD in 2004 as an experiment - a blend of a journal that had long gone fallow with a hobby re-sprouting. The challenge of doing a picture every day is a delightful experience, thought-provoking, sometimes difficult. For me, the work boosts my ever-sleepy writing muse to dance. The best part of the experience? Meeting some wonderful people who jump into the flow of the PAD challenge. Thanks everyone for the encouragment.

Of course I remember you, Adal! I'm hoping to stretch this out for more than three months this time...but...I'm committment-shy. As a note, my husband the other night noticed that I took the camera when we went out to dinner. He said, "Oh no, you're not doing that photography-obsession thing again are you?" I snapped, "Be quiet, you." :)

Even I have added a photo a day gallery. The very thing I said I wouldn't do in the past. Guess it's contagious ;-)

Running to writing.com, Chip...so good to hear from you. Whew! I'm glad you're still peeking in. I hadn't meant the journal to be as autobiographical as it is. I had visions of the beginnings of stories, poetry, etc. Lordy.

Hey CB, I love this 'Pic a Day' thing you've got going. I've been following it for a time now and I must admit I find myself looking forward to what you're going to post next. And of course, I agree with JD Anderson. The prose accompaning each pic adds so much to enhance your gallery. But then again, you know you've been my favorite writer for a long time. Oh, one more thing. Your photos have inspired me to finally plop down the $23.00 for a home of my own. Take care my friend, Chip

Wow... I'm glad you commented on my photo, as that is how I found your PAD gallery. The photos are great, but the commentary is absolutely wonderful!!
