I saw an insect flying in the my truck and thought it was a regular fly but realized when I killed it that it was a spider! Spiders fly?

Thanks, Chris, but though I would have loved to have got him from the front he was a feisty little fella and that was the only one I got before he disappeared into a crack!

Fascinating detail on this spider's back, and I love the shadow he/she casts. Composition is a little lacking, though, as we can't see the spider's face very well. ---Chris
