What it is exactly is a photo of a watercolor a friend gave me many years ago. It was actually painted the year I was born.

I shot several collectible lighthouses I've gotten over the years for my birthday, shot those, cut them out with the pen tool then added them to the painting.

I used Topaz to give the little lighthouses a watercolor effect then overlaid the rest of it with a watercolor texture I created myself for stock.
