The east terrace. In the center of the picture: the row of fallen heads, lined up on the lower level of the terrace.
In the background, left, one sees the four steps of the square altar platform, located at the east side.
On the right side of the picture: the giant limestone statues, facing outwards from the tumulus, on the upper level of the terrace. A highly developed technology was used to build this colossal statues, which were eight or nine meters in height (the fallen heads included).
