The heads on the east terrace. They are up to 2½ m in height.
On the foreground: The goddess of Commagene, depicted as Tyche, the (Greek) presiding tutelary deity that governed the fortune and prosperity of a city (or state), its destiny. The second head belongs to Zeus – Oromasdes. All the statues appear to have Greek-style facial features, but Persian clothing and hairstyling.
