Small rhyton. Polished earthenware; height 5½ cm, both openings: 3½ cm diameter.
From the Karum (Assyrian trade settlement) of Kaneş (= Kültepe, near Kayseri), 19th or 18th century BC.
Rhyton = a container from which fluids were intended to be drunk, or else poured in some ceremony such as libation.
