I often walked a trail one the south side of rock outcrops that on their other side look down upon the Nevşehir-Ürgüp road. There is one point where a gorge will block progress unless you know where to cross. On several occasions I missed that crossing, and had to follow the gorge, which has very steep sides and is generally impossible to escape from. If one knows the crossing it is easy, this is one of some pictures on that spot.
