One of some pictures of the remains of the German submarine UB-46, launched in 1915 and put in Turkish service during WW I. It sank an English steamship, the "Huntaral" in the Aegean Sea and Russian sailboat, the "Meleni" before itself striking a mine and sinking at 300 meters off the shore, where it was found in 1993 in the Kemerburgaz area of Istanbul. Not all of its 36,9 meters long and 4,4 meters wide body was found, but the remains are impressive.
